Intentional Goal-Setting
How to create a framework to achieve goals that once seemed impossible.
Goal Setting.
To begin with goal setting I want you to sit with your thoughts.
What is it that you really want in your life?
Is it the same boring path as everyone else?
Working for a company where you probably have bosses you do not even respect, doing work that gives you zero purpose besides keeping you comfortable in the life you created.
Do you love living for the weekend?
Using substances to cope with the feelings you are constantly running away from.
Getting the Sunday scaries of having to go back into the nightmare that you created.
Sadly, this is the mundane life that most people are living.
And it is not really all your fault.
It is how we have been programmed as a society to live.
Go to school, get a job, have a family, buy a house, buy a car.
It is just a repetitive path that most live on.
And if that is your dream life, that is fine.
But.... have you ever just stopped and said "Why am I doing this "
Most people do not, and that is why they're unpleased with their own lives.
I just want you to understand that you can unplug and create the life that you want to live.
It all starts with goal setting.
Most people do not even know how to set goals and process them.
You have to first create everything you do not want in life.
The job you don't want to work, the body you don't want to have, the money you don't want to make. the house, car, spouse, family, and where you live.
All of this will trigger pain inside of you
You need to use this pain to fuel you to never make those things you do not want in life your reality.
Becoming the person you want to be will be the most painful yet rewarding thing you can do in your life.
With this anti-goal-setting tactic, you might realize this is already your life.
GOOD....
That means we're aware of what is going on a start to work toward this purposeful life.
Clear Vision and Planning:
Define your goals with clarity.
You need to understand exactly what you want to achieve and why it's important to you.
Where do you want to live, what do you want to look like, what do you want your day-to-day to look like?
Break down your goals into smaller, manageable tasks or milestones, and create a detailed plan outlining the steps you need to take to reach each milestone.
You need to break this down from yearly to monthly to weekly and daily tasks.
Write down the night before 1-5 things that is going to move the needle a little more towards these goals you have set for yourself.
Knock this out in the morning.
Before all of the other things that have control over your time take over the day and you never work toward what you ultimately want.
Commitment and Discipline:
Stay committed to your goals
Even when faced with challenges or setbacks.
Develop the discipline to consistently work towards your goals, even on days when you don't feel motivated.
You must have extreme ownership over your life.
No one else will do this for you, stop making excuses.
The reason your life is where it is right now is all the decisions you have made have led to this life.
Whether you are doing what has been programmed in you since birth or not.
This may involve establishing daily habits, setting aside dedicated time for your goals, and staying focused on your priorities.
Continuous Learning and Adaptation:
Be willing to learn from your experiences and adapt your approach as needed.
Detach from your ego and open your mind. It is important to stay curious and continue your growth by learning every. single. day.
Read books, listen to podcasts, read articles.
All of these should be based on things that you love to learn about and are obsessed with.
Have about 4-5 people you follow in these topics that you are influenced and motivated by and break down how they do things and the processes you have fallen in love with learning.
Stay open to new ideas, feedback, and growth opportunities.
If something isn't working, don't be afraid to adjust your strategy or try a different approach.
Embrace failure as a learning opportunity rather than a setback.
Too many people fail and give up.
You must become comfortable with the uncomfortable.
You must create projects to practice these techniques you're learning from.
I use X as my main platform to put out my ideas to see what is going to work and what is not going to work.
So you will stack these techniques so eventually you will master whatever it is that your niche is.
Effective Time Management and Prioritization:
Manage your time effectively by prioritizing tasks that align with your goals and eliminating or delegating tasks that don't contribute to your objectives.
Use tools and techniques such as to-do lists, calendars, and time-blocking to organize your schedule and stay focused on what matters most.
You must have a 10-year goal, a 1-year goal, a 1-month goal, a 1-week goal, and a daily goal.
This will help move the needle toward what it is that you're trying to accomplish.
If you do not do this society will continue to give you goals that you may or may not want to work toward.
This is the most important step.
Writing these goals out in a notes app, or an application such as Notion ( that is what I use )
Create a planner for your life.
Disappear from all of the things that take away from these goals whatever that may be.
Not everyone is going to understand why you are doing what you are doing.
And that is okay.
The only thing that matters is that you create the life you want to live and work towards that everyday.
It is going to be your life mission.
You owe it to yourself and your entire family.
No matter how long it takes keep working towards it and analyze the goals quarterly to understand if you are doing what it takes to achieve your goals.
If you do these things everyday you have already won.
You will become disciplined.
And others around you will still be crawling while you walk through difficult challenges that most people see as difficult.
But you will deal with failure so much that it becomes a part of the day.
And most quit at the slightest sight of a challenge.
Closing Thoughts:
In a world where routine often dictates our paths, breaking free from the conventional script requires courage, introspection, and deliberate action. It's easy to fall into the rhythm of a life dictated by societal norms, but true fulfillment lies in daring to envision and pursue something more.
Goal setting isn't merely about jotting down aspirations; it's about igniting a fire within, fueled by a deep understanding of what truly matters to you. It's about crafting a roadmap that leads not to mere comfort, but to purpose and passion.
Embrace the discomfort of self-reflection, for it is within the depths of discomfort that growth flourishes. Challenge the status quo, question your motivations, and redefine success on your own terms.
Commitment and discipline are your steadfast companions on this journey. In the face of obstacles and distractions, they will anchor you to your purpose, guiding you through the storms toward calmer shores.
Remember, growth is a perpetual journey of learning and adaptation. Stay curious, remain open to new perspectives, and embrace failure as a stepping stone toward mastery.
Time is both your greatest asset and your fiercest adversary. Use it wisely, prioritize relentlessly, and guard it fiercely against distractions that threaten to derail your progress.
As you embark on this quest to manifest your dreams into reality, know that you are not alone. Connect with kindred spirits who share your vision, draw inspiration from their journeys, and forge ahead with unwavering determination.
In the end, the path to a life of purpose and fulfillment is not always smooth, but it is undeniably worth the effort. So, dare to dream boldly, set your goals with clarity, and march forward with relentless resolve. Your destiny awaits, and it is yours to create.
